PRODUCTION MANAGER
As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. You will also ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of the entire manufacturing processes.
You shall have to always ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and at the right level of quality.
Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
Planning of the human and material resources requirements for full capacity utilization.
Drafting job timescales for all production line and manual activities.
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Identifying training needs.
REQUIREMENT:
5-8 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry as a senior officer in the production department.
Experience as a production manager is an added advantage.
Applicant must be a pharmacist (B.Pharm. and other suitable qualification; MBA or MSc preferred)
Applicants must possess the following skills;
